Connect Groups are our small group (or Cell Church) expression. They provide mid-week fellowship, Bible-study, prayer and discussion groups. They are held in local homes in and around Loughborough and meet on Monday and Friday mornings and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Connect Group Format

Each meeting has the same simple format so that it can be replicated easily:

WELCOME - so that we get to know each other, the experiences of the past week and to set the scene for the Word section.

WORSHIP - a time to focus on Jesus in a variety of worship styles and activities.

WORD - part of the discipline of Connect Groups is that you are accountable to the fellow members of your group. The aim of this section is to apply the Word of God to ourselves so that it affects our life style, not just inform our intellect. It is based on the Sunday morning preach.

WORK - discipleship calls for faith to believe what you have been taught and then put it into practice!! We do this by praying for friends and neighbours and looking to develop opportunities to build bridges to them and win them for Jesus.

Connect Group Values

We encourage the following values in our Connect Groups:

• Every member in ministry; enabling and empowering every single member of the 'Body of Christ'.
• Each cell member taking a responsibility to have a network of unchurched friends to whom they are reaching out, and seeking to evangelise and win.
• A sense of mutual accountability to obey the commands of Christ - to love God, love one another, and love the unchurched.
• Empowering people and encouraging them into a sense of destiny and purpose in what they do on a Monday-to-Friday basis.
