Many people see my name and mispronounce it, which has caused a few hiccups in my 20+ years in social work. My name is pronounced Ingles. I have been divorced for over 30 years and I am the proud mother of Simon and have a lovely daughter in law, Emma. Mary and Nathaniel are probably the cutest grandchildren any one could hope for, but I won't argue if you think the same about your grandchildren.
I didn't do very well at school, but made up for it when I was older, studying to gain Social Work qualifications and, more recently, a Certificate in Theology and Vocation.
I have recently taken flexible retirement (yes I am old enough) though there are moments when I wonder how I found the time to work. Thursday and Friday I am a social worker with Leicestershire Children and Young Peoples Services (formally Social Services), the rest of the time, well come and talk to me and I may tell you.
I enjoy DIY, films, reading, music and theatre and I was involved in amateur dramatics for a while.
My passion is for God's people to be all that they can be in Christ. To know just how much they are loved by God, how much God has invested in them and to see them walking the walk. God has used me in the prophetic, which can be difficult at times. Love is always kind, but it is not wishy washy.
Please pray for me, that I will walk the walk and be all that God wants me to be without fear or favour.
