    Quality Training for Busy People

Operating for several years now, the School of Ministry provides a unique teaching resource of Biblical and Theological studies for the 'busy Christian'. It is our belief that the Lord is using this resource to effectively equip men and women for all types of Christian ministry by offering a comprehensive training course, at an affordable price.

What is the School of Ministry ?

The School of Ministry provides a range of evangelical interdenominational teaching courses, designed to encourage and assist Christians to be better equipped to serve in ministry within their own particular church or fellowship. The courses are designed to benefit all Christians, whatever their age or background, who are keen to have a more detailed knowledge and understanding of their faith. The course content is particularly relevant to those who are engaged in Christian ministry such as preaching, Bible teaching, Church leadership and children's work.

Courses Available

The basic SCM Course is separated into two terms (Jan-June & Sept-Dec), and meets once a month on Saturday morning (9am to 1pm). The course content is repeated every two years. The topics covered include Theology, Biblical studies, Church history, Counselling, Apologetics, Hermeneutics and much more.

The School also provides a Correspondence Course for those who are unable to attend the SCM Course. All the lectures are recorded and the tapes and notes are sent to participating students. Optional essays are marked and comments are shared with each student.

In addition we offer several Bible language classes, which meet on mid-week evenings. These modules include New Testament Greek for Beginners, Greek Translation and Old Testament Hebrew.

Finally, for the more serious student, there is the Foundation Course in Theology and Christian Ministry. This course involves a more intensive approach, comprising of essays, examinations and practical projects leading to a Theological College certificate. The course covers two years and is affiliated to Regents Theological College.
