Cafe Elim

Join us at "Cafe Elim" for a warm, relaxed evening of food, live music and good conversation. During the evening Mark Greenwood (one of our favourite and most entertaining speakers) will give a short talk (of about 30mins) and there will be opportunity for you to have your say.

Food (puddings and other desserts, plus tea & coffee, etc) will be available each week from 6:00pm, with main evening starting promptly at 6:30pm. The series of evenings is entitled "Reason to Believe".

  • Is it reasonable to believe the Bible when it's been changed?
    Week 1:
    Sun 24th Jan 2010 @ 6:00pm - 8:15pm

  • How can you believe in a God that you can't see?
    Week 2:  Sun 7th Feb 2010 @ 6:00pm - 8:15pm

  • If God is a God of love, why is there so much suffering?
    Week 3:  Sun 21st Feb 2010 @ 6:00pm - 8:15pm

  • Why can't I do what feels right to me?
    Week 4:
    Sun 7th Mar 2010 @ 6:00pm - 8:15pm

  • What makes you think that Christianity is right?
    Week 5:  Sun 21st Mar 2010 @ 6:00pm - 8:15pm

Each evening includes food, a short presentation and the chance to discuss your questions in a relaxed and safe environment.

Please note: There will be a prayer time for this series, each Wednesday at 12:30 - 1:30pm, in the schoolroom.
