Join us at "Cafe Elim" for a warm, relaxed evening of food,
live music and good conversation. During the evening
Mark Greenwood (one of our
favourite and most entertaining speakers) will give a short talk (of about
30mins) and there will be opportunity for you to have your say.
Food (puddings and other
desserts, plus tea & coffee, etc) will be available each week from
6:00pm, with main evening starting
promptly at 6:30pm.
The series of evenings is
entitled "Reason to Believe".

Each evening includes food, a short presentation and the chance to discuss
your questions in a relaxed and safe environment.
Please note: There will be a prayer time for this series, each
Wednesday at 12:30 - 1:30pm, in the schoolroom.
The Encounter is a weekend retreat, in a setting away from the normal
distractions of life, to enable you to experience a time of stock-taking and
assessment, of letting God deal with every part of your life through the
cleansing and empowering of the Holy Spirit.
The leadership in Elim want to give you the opportunity to take time out in
a safe environment to meet God afresh - to deal with issues and/or to get a
fresh focus and spark into your life.
Over fifty people from the Church have benefited from an "Encounter
God" weekend. Ask around and someone will be able to tell you more
about what happens and how it impacted them.

The next Loughborough Town prayer meeting

at the Salvation Army Church at 7:30pm.
The Loughborough Town Prayer is a group of Christians from different congregations
in Loughborough, who meet to pray together regularly.

Omega Course
- three evenings (or a Staurday morning) of preparation for membership. You will find out about Elim as
a denomination,
its beliefs, our local structure and our vision.
A fourth evening will involve a social with some of
the church leadership, when you will hear our testimonies and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Our aim
is to have every regular attendee complete the Network Course, so that:
You and those in leadership may recognise your passion, gifting and personal
style and place you effectively,
Or that you may be released into new ministries,
And so we will have a fully functioning body, believing that God has called you for a
purpose and that it is important for you, the Church and the Kingdom of God that
you fulfil it.
Network
consists of four 90 minute sessions, after which there is a consultation with
one of the leadership to assist you find your place and function.
